Opera/Classical Vocal Album.
Fellow Northwest nominees in other categories include Darby O'Gill
and Michael Allen Harrison.
WE DID IT!
Duelin' Sopranos won 4th Place in Best Opera/Classical Vocal Album of
2004 at the Just Plain Folks Music Awards. Founded by
Brian Austin Whitney, the Just Plain Music Organization is the largest
music organization in the world. Like the Grammies for
Independent Artists, it has been stated repeatedly that it is more
difficult to win a JPF Award than to win a Grammy, because it is so
sizable an organization. We are honored to have received this
recognition in Los Angeles, California, November 7, 2004, and were
truly humbled to have been asked to perform for the Awards Ceremony,
performing and partying with such awesome fellow artists of all genres,
including Skamp, Guta, Karen Bently, Alan O'Day, and many more new
friends. Our hats are off to all of you! And thank you to
all our friends and family for making this possible.
